Taking a complete U-turn,they have announced a product with no hardware whatsoever: Target Toss Pro: BAGS. read more » A study released today by Consumer Reports Webwatch and Mediatech Foundation says kids' sites like Club Penguin, Webkinz, and others may have negative effects on kids because of their powerful marketing techniques. The study also suggests that the marketing should be more transparent for parents. It should be no surprise, but these site heavily emphasize consumerism. Using motion-captured moves, fans of breakdancing (who don't have good enough health insurance to try it themselves) can soon give the ancestor of Hip Hop dance a try on Sony's PSP and PS2. Combining the competitive dancing with "street" culture, like building a crew and a rep, players will have access to over 800 moves in 22 authentic venues. Now, our satellite service offers hundreds of channels, but it's not enough. Or, to look at it another way, it's too much. When you have 100 channels but only a half-dozen shows worth watching, I feel like I'm getting ripped off, especially when I'm paying a monthly fee to watch those shows, most of which I could get over the air. read more » |
