Magnetix Rebranded

Tags:

After getting hit by major recalls this year, Mega Brands plans to replace the Magnetix line of toys, which can prove fatal if swallowed, with a new brand called "Magnext." We don't have any details except that you'll be seeing the new brand this summer, and that Mega Brands is changing their Chinese operations.

So here's the question: What's to come of magnetic toys? Even keeping the magnets completely enclosed will not keep them safe in a small intestine. Anyone have any thoughts on how to make magnet toys safer, or should the age label be enough?
