Paul McCartney's Divorce: Great for music fans

First off, let me make this very clear: I'm not happy that Paul McCartney and Heather Mills are getting a divorce. I wish they'd been able to work things out and have a long and happy marriage. But since that's not the case, a judge's decision Monday to allow a preliminary divorce decree is good news for music fans, specifically iTunes music fans.

Paul has indicated that he's interested in getting the Beatles' music available for purchase at the iTunes store, but he wants to wait until after the divorce so Heather doesn't get any of the royalties from it. So now that the divorce ball is rolling, it means that the day when you can get those 1 or 2 songs you still need to complete your personal Beatles collection may be coming soon.

Of course, this may smack a bit of schadenfreude, but really, it's more because we're fans of the Fab Four than because we want anyone to suffer.

So let me hear some of that Rock and Roll music, any old way we choose it, specifically as an iTunes Plus unprotected mp3 file.
