Tech Talk for Families features periodic contests with great giveaways for our fans. Check back often to find out about the latest prizes!

Also note that we only retain email addresses to be used with each contest to notify winners. We will never release your personal information to another party.

Tech Talk for Families has recently added discussion forums to allow visitors to interact with the site staff and other visitors. These forums have been designed with a family-friendly atmosphere in mind, allowing parents and kids to talk about the latest games, gadgets, and toys, share tips, and get help.

MX vs ATV Untamed Box

To get the community ball rolling, we're sponsoring a contest to win a collection of video games (a $90 value):

How to Win

Once you register at our forum, get involved. Post questions, offer help, make suggestions, and get to know each other. Share a story about an experience with a toy. Talk about gift ideas for upcoming holidays or birthdays. Let us know what you think of a video game you recently played, or ask others' opinions about a game you're considering buying.

London Taxi

Every time you post a meaningful message, you will be entered once into the contest, so the more involved you get on the forum, the greater your likelihood of winning.

Contest FAQ

  • Is there a limit to the number of entries? Yes. In order to keep people from being intimidated by a person or persons going all-out, entries will be limited to 30 per person. (But feel free to stay involved once you reach your 30th post!)
  • What constitutes a meaningful message? Avoid "Me too" messages that don't add anything to the discussion. While you can post such comments, they will not be counted toward your total. Any posts with language inappropriate for our younger visitors will not only be removed, but depending on the content, result in the writer being moderated or banned and disqualified from the contest. Don't spam the list--you can include links to family-friendly site in your signature line, but just posting links to your own websites will also result in preventative actions being taken. Use common sense, be kind, and imagine a 6-year-old reading it before posting your message. (You don't have to "dumb it down," but keep it "Rated E for Everyone".)
  • Are questions considered meaningful? Yes, as long as they pertain to the topics in the forum. Questions can be great discussion starters.
