As part of Tech Talk for Families' ongoing commitment to provide tech resources for families, we want to let you in on the action by building an online community of mutual support for parents and families who use technology. (That would be pretty much everyone, we're thinking!)
To that end, we have set up an e-mail discussion group over at Yahoo Groups.
The Tech Talk for Families Discussion list is a place for parents to learn about and discuss technology, toys, and video games from a family perspective. Share experiences with the latest MP3 player, your rules for your kids' cell phone use, get gift ideas, and get and offer suggestions on video games, plus lots more. This list also features news from the site and podcast, but you need not need not be a podcast listener to be on this list.
Why Yahoo? We thought about setting up the "listserve" on our own server, but we hope Yahoo's group directory will let more people know about our services.
